Authored the governor-endorsed state policy paper on Workforce Investment Act (WIA) reauthorization that was incorporated into legislation introduced by Rep. Virginia Foxx and passed by the full House of Representatives. Also arranged for the Executive Director of the Utah Department of Workforce Services to meet with congressional staff on WIA issues and present in a hearing before the House Education and Workforce Committee.
